Starting in the 1960s, Albert Cozzi and his family members built Cozzi Iron and Metal into one of the largest privately held recycled metal companies based out of Chicago. After selling the family business to Metal Management in 1997, Cozzi became Metal Management's President. In 1999, he became Metal Management's Chairman and CEO. After leaving Metal Management in 2004, Cozzi and his family members formed Cozzi Consulting in 2006 and shortly after they formed Cozzi Recycling based in Belwood, Illinois. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago, and he currently lives in Arizona.
