Brian Shine

CEO, Manitoba Corporation

Brian Shine served as national Chair of ISRI from 2018-20. He is a fourth generation nonferrous metals recycler and president of Manitoba Corporation, which operates two plants: Lancaster (Buffalo), N.Y., and St. Louis, Miss., with a primary focus on processing high-grade copper recyclable materials. Shine has held many leadership positions within ISRI, including membership committee chairman, audit committee chairman, and member of the board of directors. He served as president of the ISRI Empire State Chapter from 2004 to 2006. Shine graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University and obtained a certificate from the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Buffalo, where he has since mentored a dozen candidates through the program. He is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a graduate of Leadership Buffalo. Shine is married and has three sons.
