Dimitrios Karakitsos
Dimitri Karakitsos joined Holland & Knight as a Partner in 2016 after spending nearly eight years working for the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee. Over the course of his Senate career, Karakitsos served as the Committee's lead GOP policy staffer on oil and gas issues, NEPA, and chemicals, and was lead drafter and negotiator for the 2016 Lautenberg Chemical Safety Act. Since joining Holland & Knight, Karakitsos has worked with Congress and within the executive branch on issues ranging from energy and environment to trade and international treaties. His work with the firm expands beyond his Senate Republican role, working across the aisle and within both the Trump and Biden Administrations.
