Greg Wittbecker is a 37-year veteran of the aluminum industry. He began his career at Cargill Metals. He learned about the recycled metals market under the guidance of Jerry David at Wise Metals, where he served as VP of Risk Management for 14 years. Wittbecker managed physical metals trading at Koch Metals from 2001-2003, before joining Alcoa. He spent 15 years at Alcoa in various director-level roles, retiring in 2018 after completing his tour of duty as Managing Director of Alcoa Beijing Trading in China. Since 2018, Wittbecker has served in an advisory capacity with CRU Group, with a focus on the upstream aluminum market.
