Krissy van Niekerk joined Maersk in July 2006 as a trainee, and she is currently Head of Digital and Forwarder Sales. van Niekerk started her career with Maersk in Pacific Westbound Trade in the Madison, NJ. .office. Since then, she has progressed her career primarily in the commercial organization with roles ranging from Key Client Sales in New Zealand to Latin American Trade Management and Special Cargo Trade and Business Development in Charlotte, N.C. She joined the Florham Park office in January 2019 to lead the sales team responsible for small to medium-sized forwarders as well as recyclables sales. In December 2021, she took the lead role for the Maersk digital products, Maersk Spot and Twill, as well as the recyclables sales team for the U.AK15S.
