Richard Goldberg is a third-generation recycler in the metals industry, and current president and owner of Geomet Recycling in Dallas, Texas. He has been working full-time in the industry for 20 years, and was fortunate to learn the business from his father, grandfather, and many others. Goldberg is grateful for the opportunity he's had to learn many facets of the business at multiple operations, handling many different tasks and jobs. He has a great deal of respect for his professional responsibilities, which include providing jobs, helping lead the company, and, of course, recycling. Goldberg enjoys working daily with the people of Geomet more than any other aspect of his job He recently joined the ISRI Gulf Coast Region Board of Directors, and is excited for this new experience to help further his growth and contribute to the association that helps recyclers navigate their professional lives.
